After months and months of brainstorming for the perfect mantra/tagline/slogan/way of living for Blue Frame, I have finally decided one that suits what I want to say and what I want my clients to feel. I hope it connects with you, as much as it has connected with me.
I have always believed that maternity photography is way different than any other type of photography. It’s about the way a woman glows when she is carrying a new life inside her, it’s about the love and connect of two partners, it’s about the interaction of soon to be siblings, it’s about the creation of life. Life itself is what sustains us, and what makes us grow as humans.
With those thoughts in mind…..
The idea for the mantra was easy, but how do you put all those feelings in to a sentence?
Easy....
Embracing life.
It’s simple, but it says everything that it needs to.

Kristina & Jack

Here are two images from the session I did with Kristina and Jack yesterday. Very wonderful couple to photograph, we tried to incorporate their two year old son Tyden, but he had other plans. Although he is very excited about the new arrival, he just didn’t want his picture taken. (No worries though, there are a few with Tyden too, just not as many as we had hoped for.)

I have been brainstorming lately, I have made a goal for myself….I am going to do a couple shots each session that are not quite my intimate style, I want to play up the fun loving, easy going, spontaneous nature of my clients. I am a people watcher by nature, and I love how my clients evolve in a session. You get to see their real personality, and style, so I have decided. Let’s capture some of that, as well as the intimate stuff, that you all love.

Last night I met another wonderful lady from the Grove. Everyone that I have photographed from the Grove has been completely wonderful. Never in my life have I met such happy go lucky, laid back, giggly people as I in the past months that I have called Spruce Grove home (my house anyway).

Ann is full of life…and baby!! She has the most contagious laugh, and was just a joy to talk to and photograph.

Outside Maternity Session
I have always wanted to do a maternity session outside. I have done tones of wedding stuff outside, but never a maternity session. Last weekend I got the chance to take one of my client outside for her session. I can't be more pleased on how they turned out. I definitely want to do more this summer and fall, so if your interested please let me know...

Here we go, venturing into the world of "business blogging." Life with my camera is fun, challenging and rewarding. I'd love to share that more than I'm able to do on my website alone.
On our blog we will post images and moments from our sessions, give you an inside view of what we are currently up to.
I love reading other photographers blogs, it's like alittle addiction. I can't get enought of them. Hopefully our blog will be as fun and great to read as my fellow photographer friends.
